A Grand Day for Cobequid is a new fundraiser for Cobequid Community Health Centre Foundation. Join us on Saturday, June 26, 2010 on Grand Lake as we embark on a canoe and kayaking adventure! No matter the age or skill level, prepare for a GRAND Day of canoeing, kayaking and fundraising all in suport of better health care in our community. The Walk Run for the Health of Our Community has been a crucial fundraiser for the centre for over ten years, and continues to be a tremendous success. This fall event brings out members of the community as people participate as individuals or in teams. Many members of our local business community also participate in this event with corporate teams, edging on a friendly competitive spirit.
